Rebecca and Issac were ready for their big day. Everyone had gathered at the family house in the Berkeley Hills for the wedding and celebration. The happy couple had lots of personal touches around the house to greet the guests.
Before the ceremony got underway, the men gathered for a traditional Jewish Tisch, where the men folk gather around a table and, well, drink – and have a bit to eat. They guys had a great time sharing stories and chatting.
While the men were celebrating, the ladies were putting on the finishing touches. Along with celebrating a union, there was lots of excitement about the baby on the way! All the girls helped our bride put on the finishing touches – and then enjoyed a quick toast of their own.
And then it was time for a wedding. Our bride made her entrance and the couple headed outside to have the ceremony under a chuppah, or a traditional Jewish marriage canopy. It was a beautiful afternoon, with lots of awesome natural light. Our groom was a bit emotional, but the ceremony was wonderful, everyone said the right things, and after breaking the glass, our happy couple was married!
The newlyweds snuck off for a short walk and then for a drive while guests enjoyed snacks from The Organic Chef, who catered the entire celebration.
Our newlyweds took a spin around Berkeley and enjoyed some smooching time before heading back to the house to meeting up with the rest of the guests.
The newlyweds made it back just in time for the sunset and for the wonderful dinner from The Organic Chef. Everyone enjoyed toasting the newlyweds and sharing a flavorful meal. Congratulations, Rebecca and Issac!
